The Stolen Winter Light

2023

Created by Greedy Pig Theatre Company
Written by Douglas Murdoch

In the dark of Midwinter, nothing’s more valuable than the light - and no one needs it more than Clementine. But as she darts through the forest, stealing away every last glimmer of brightness, her actions are beginning to draw attention. And when the ever-inquisitive Bo turns up at her hideaway, looking for the so-called ‘stealer of light’, suddenly everything she holds dear is in danger…

This Christmas, the critically acclaimed Greedy Pig Theatre Company (Spoil Me, Peacock, Be), invite you to join them for a bewitching and hilarious festive tale. With enchanting live m
usic, humour for all ages, and Greedy Pig’s signature bold storytelling, The Stolen Winter Light is a fantastic family treat!

AGE GUIDANCE

Whilst the show will be entertaining for all age groups (and is appropriate for all ages), we would recommend that ages 7+ will get the most out of the story.

BSL
All performances except the 3pm 17th December showing will include integrated BSL, signed by Elizabeth Oliver.

Relaxed Performances
Christmas shows should be for everyone – and The Rondo is committed to accessibility, with several Relaxed Performances of The Stolen Winter Light. Relaxed Performances are for everyone, but lighting is less harsh, house lights remain on and audience members are free to make noise and move around the theatre. A breakout area will be available in the foyer. The only rule is: no shushing!

Big Scream!
Big Scream performances accommodate very young children – these performances will operate a ‘Babes in Arms’ policy which means that a child of 18 months or younger does not need a ticket providing they can be held by a parent/guardian.

Family Ticket
Book four or more tickets, and receive one ticket free! This discount will be applied automatically at the checkout when you select four or more tickets. Please note: only one free ticket is allowed per customer.
