Lex Kaby - Freelance Choreography & Movement Directing

Lex graduated from Bath Spa university in 2016 with a First Class Honours degree in Drama.

Lex has trained in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz since the age of 4 and began choreographing professionally in 2012.

From 2017-2017 Lex choreographed extensively for RARE Productions.

Shows include: Grease, Annie, Les Miserables, Bugsy Malone, Oliver, Footloose, Camp Rock, High School Musical, The Wizard of Oz and many more. Theatres include: The Watford Palace Theatre - Watford, The Gordon Craig Theatre - Stevenage, The Lights - Andover, The Wyllyotts - Potters Bar, The Radlet Centre - Radlett and many more.

Lex continued to choreograph for Musical Theatre through University and has since embarked upon a role choreographing for a piece of Performance Art called Be. in a private R&D in 2020 for Greedy Pig.

During 2021 Lex worked as a Musical Theatre Teacher for FitzGraham Academy of Dance.

Lex is passionate about all forms of dance, however, Musical Theatre will always be a personal favourite.

Just So - Bath Spa University (2016)

CHOREOGRAPHER:

'Whilst in her final year at University, Lex choreographed the Musical Theatre Practice 2 module musical 'Just So'. Lex received a high first for this module and very much enjoyed the opportunity and challenge of choreographing a show in which many of the characters are animals.
